Welcome

Hi I’m Claire, The menopausal hairdresser. I have spent over 20 years creating fabulous hair and, more recently, navigating the twists and turns of menopause. Over the last 18 months I have had a chemical menopause and recently a full hysterectomy, This has allowed me to understand the challenges that this journey can bring and make your experience a little easier. Whether that means keeping your hair looking great or sharing honest advice and tips from my own experiences. Let’s face menopause together with a smile, great hair, and the right information!

Me and my menopause mission

As a hairdresser with over 20 years of experience and 14 years of running my own business. My journey in hairdressing has been filled with creativity and passion—whether it’s crafting a new look or playing with colour, I’ve always loved helping people feel their best. I started in salons and transitioned to teaching hair while building my own business, winning awards for mobile hairdressing two years in a row.

But it was my experience with menopause and understanding what some of my clients were going through that opened my eyes to a gap in the hairdressing industry. I realised how many women feel lost and unsure during this time, not just about their symptoms but also about their hair and self-identity. This realisation led me to start conversations with my clients, share my own experiences, and create a space where they could do the same.

Those conversations have been so powerful, helping both me and my clients feel seen and supported.

Using my hairdresser super power of being there for my clients and knowledge gained through training, personal experience and long coversations with friends and client, I now use this to be a coach and support system for other hairdressers and all women going though the menopause. Using knowledge and experience-based support. I want to strip away the clinical jargon and biased opinions to provide practical, relatable advice. I’m passionate about creating support groups, building a community, and even working directly with salons to help more women feel confident and informed on their menopause journey.

Join me as we turn this life transition into an opportunity for connection, strength, and fabulous hair!

Please remember, I am not a medical professional and cannot provide medical advice. I share recommendations based on my experiences and those of my clients. Always consult your doctor before trying new supplements or exercise.
